I’m collecting 24 of the best thesaurus entries in a little mini volume for Denver Comic Con at the end of the month. This image shows the back and front covers. The back is on the left, due to printing and folding, the front cover image on the right.

This was not an easy task! How do you decide what eye-catching magic to put on a book cover with the intent of showing it to strangers? After much, much, much deliberation, I just made something up.

There needed to be adorableness and variance in heights. If the characters were looking up(for the most part), then the viewer would look up at the title as well.

I ended up redrawing the idiot from about and the pig and its playmate from abandon. Of course the tummy hole guy had to make an appearance.
